The best Jamaican food in Los Angeles PERIOD!!! I recommend the Jerk chicken, oxtails, fish , the fresh juice and patties. I stopped by Jay's for the first time 3 weeks ago. I ordered my favorite, Curry Goat. The goat was well seasoned and tender. Let's talk about the rice & peas please!!!! 😀 The texture of the rice & peas was perfect and the gravy from the goat was so good over the rice and peas. The cabbage with peppers was also delicious. I will be back to try the fried Snapper with some festival bread on the side. The young lady at the register that assisted me was very pleasant and professional.

This was by far the most authentic Jamaican food I’ve had in Los Angeles. We got the ox tail and jerk chicken combo with the Mac and cheese. The taste of the ox tail was incredible. Meat was beyond tender and incredible. Chicken was cooked on a charcoal grill right outside. You won’t get better food.
